I`m not 100% but I don`t think a sealant will properly adhere to a glaze. If you`re looking to lock in shine go with a coating such as cquartz uk. Just make sure any defects are removed first as a coating will lock them in place

As long as it`s not an "oily" glaze, it`ll be fine.

For the durability part of the ?, it really depends. It`s sorta like asking "What kind of gas mileage can I expect?"

I use PB Black hole on tons of stuff with either sealant or wax on top, no problems.
Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!

I would never apply a glaze without doing a sealant or wax on top. That`s just me though.

Re: Question on Glaze topping with a sealant question

Honestly, this is such a general question that it is impossible to give you a concrete answer. Some glazes will interact with certain sealants, particularly if they use some of the same carrier oils.

If you try to apply a Klasse Sealant Glaze on top of Meguiars #7, you will run into a short-lived mess. However, if you try to apply Meguiars #21 over #7, it will work no problem.

Re: Question on Glaze topping with a sealant question

My favorite glaze for over or under a wax or sealant was (Denase) Wet Glaze 2.0
It was a polymer based WOWO glaze that could be layered (up to three coats).
I liked using it with BFWD. It didn`t do "filling" but it was a great gloss enhancer.
For a glaze "on top" it would last up to a month depending on the environment.
I`ve even done three coats of WG 2.0, 2 coats of BFWD & then 3 coats WG 2.0.
WG 2.0 had a nice slick feeling very similar to the way BFWD feels in the morning.

I like using Poorboys Black Hole followed by the new BLACK LABEL paint sealant. A beautiful and durable mirror finish. Works for me !
