Black paint on a silver car!

Just found out my daughter scraped our silver car against a black one. I haven`t seen it but my wife has. She said it`s about 4 inches long and it`s black paint. Question is. I have Poorboy`s SS1,2 and 3 will any of these remove this black from the silver? Also I will be doing this by hand as I have no powertools. As always thanx in advance. Rick

I would start with lacquer thinner on a rag while you are washing the car. You want to try and dissolve the paint to start. Then I would attack with the SSR`s and polish wax, etc.

I used DACP, which I believe is similar to SSR2 to remove silver paint from a black car. Took a little while, but it worked fine. SSR2 should do the trick.

I use ScratchX for paint swapping like that. Works like a champ. Any good abrasive will do the trick. AIO would work too.

Nick the car is still at the university. I might get a chance this weekend. My father and father- in-law are/were (dad`s in F-i-l is now out) in the hospital. They were at different locations so I`m doing/have been alot of running around. If the car shows up at the housethis weekend I`ll try to get to it. Oh yea! the latest is it is not black paint on silver but the silver has been scratched off. the black is the color of the plastic bumper. I`ll need touchup paint.
