    Sun vs Mobile Detailing business.

Hey guys, like i said in my introduction, i am wanting to start a Mobile Detailing business. And have a lot to learn.

I know a lot of products are NOT meant to be used in the sun or on a hot-to-the-touch car.. Well that seems to be a big problem? I know Poor Boys products can be used in the sun, but i haven`t tried them and what if i don`t like them?

The main question i have, does anyone haul around a decent size throw up tent of some sort to cover the car/truck/suv?? Something lightweight and simple.. Seems like a good idea to me.

For a mobile biz I wouldn`t be without one. Even with product that works well in or out of sun, such as PB...of which I`ve used for 10 plus years. You will get much better results with a pop-up, plus much nicer working condition.

I have some poorboys products and love them. I used PwS on a black escape in direct sun on a 85+ degree day and had absolutely ZERO issues with it.

Also put a layer of nattys on my own car in direct sun and got distracted by a neighbor for about 10 mins, still wiped off with ease

Make sure you have something to hold it down. If the wind blows and it lifts up off the ground, you will have bigger problems to face besides a dirty car

My only problem personally with them is the set up because I dont have help. Im sure the newer ones are easier to set up though. I just havent done any research in a long time for one.

Have never run across a person that tried PB products and weren`t satisfied. They truly make great products. I have a section on my shelves dedicated for their products.

I`ve been using Steve`s line for well over ten years and with the exception of a couple of items, it`s a PB for me
