Do any of you use scents--In particular New Car or New Car leather. Do they last a long time? Is water based or oil based better? Do you know where I can get them? Thanks

I like Fabreeze, pick it up at Walmart or any place like that. They have one for auto that resembles "new car". I use mine almost every day.
I`ve also used Febreeze, but the regular one. I find that Febreeze doesn`t last too long.Originally posted by ranch4x4

I may try cleaning the carpets to freshen up the car.
I know Dwayne carries scents...give him a :phone:
Honestly, if you don`t mind having to redo the spray every couple of weeks Febreeze is a great way to go. There is nothing worse than an overly "scented" car... Most air fresherners are overpowering.

Four Star Automotive Air Fresheners
Some of them are very sweet. Air fresheners are very subjective and should be used with caution. Some customers love them and some cannot stand them.

Sounds funny but the PowerHouse Foam Carpet Deodorizer for pet odors from the Dollar Tree has one of the cleanest and nose friendly smells and lasts a while without draining your pocket. Also Bissell makes a good carpet deodorizer that smells fresh and clean and lasts a long time. I sprayed the Bissell in my truck when I ran out of Febreeze a month ago and it still smells fresh. Both have that fresh clean smell like Febreeze and doesn`t cost as much. Bissell I got from the supermarket. GL

Dwanye,
Are those air fresheners oil or water based? Any pros or cons?
I use oil based fragrances, I carry 5 flavours. My most popular are New Car and Strawberry. I ask the client which (if any) fragrance they would like in their vehicle and let them sample them if they would like. Helps bond the client to your work and their car. I spray the most around the recirc intake for the aircon and run it for 20-30seconds. These fragrances last say 2weeks in a heavily used car. Fragrances aren`t dear. Remember to spray only on the floors/carpets/mats, oil on clothes sux.
I have a orange one that I use once in a while. I`ve found that PB NL to be a great one. I spray in the air vents and that seems to do the job!

:wait Do you find the oil based scents on the carpets attract more dirt or leave a stain in any way? I would be worried that could happen.
