anyone use the Griots 6" Yellow Foam pad before?

I had a discussion with Joel in R&D @ Griots in Tacoma today on the phone and he said the Yellow Foam pad advertised as a carpet cleaner pad was designed to used on bad paint with heavy defects. Well I have that pad and feeling and looking at the Cell foam make up of this color pad, I would not risk using this on paint or am I mistaken? Has anyone used this yellow pad on a cars finish to help with heavy correction then move to a orange pad and so on?

I haven`t used it, but if it`s like other LC/BuffnShine yellow pads it will cut better then the orange, but you ain`t gonna be doing no one step corrections with it

I so go for it if you have a rough finish. I mean, whats the point in living if you can`t take risks once in awhile? Taking the safe route all the time is NO FUN
