    open cell pads?

Anyone know which LC pads or ones carried by ACC are open celled other than rupes pads? I`ve colopased to many CCS pads and I think I should switch over but don`t know which ones to buy. I`ll get rupes ones if I have to but they seem really pricey IMO.

I personally never cared for the CCS pads, I have quite a few and never use them. As for open cell vs closed cell. The pads that you can wring out easy are open cell. The ones that are hard to squeeze water out are closed cell. The white are generally closed, I believe the hydrotech are closed also. I know the crimson are because I use them often but I haven`t used the others in quite a while. The buff and shine pads are open cell also.

Open celled pads= Most of the LC range, Meguiars, 3M
Closed celled pads= HydroTech`s, Meguiars Softbuff 2.0 Cutting Pad
Hybrid (closed/open combination)= Lake Country White Foam Polishing Pads, Hybrid pads

Thanks Todd! That explains why I`ve exploded pads closed ones get to hot. Now to pick new ones that won`t explode, Or just switch my pads out much more often because it seems like i`ll lose some performance if I go open cell.... I`ll try this first and let u guys know how it works out.
