OTC Metal polishing- Mothers metal polish

So I love my BF metal polish but I was put in a situation where it was at the wrong shop so I had to go buy some OTC. I picked mothers mag and aluminum here`s the results I got.

Here`s some wheels I was doing

The shine was increased a lot but I couldn`t get some of the scratches out and I think I could of with BF. But It did a good enough job as this was a customer good will because he spent a ton of money on a sound system I did for him. So I did a quicky detail on the car for him.

    How`s that for a motor?

Blingy! The polished worked well here to make everything very shiny but agian it wasn`t great at removing scratches.

    Thanks for looking!

A finer (less aggressive) polish will not remove scratches.

What are you using for the applicator, and towels to remove the residue?

That`s a decent OTC metal polish, but with all the aluminum polishing I`ve done on Harleys. Semi chrome has been my go to for the most part. The second is PB Pro-polish two.
