    How I detail vents!

Vents ever give you trouble? Here`s how I do it.

    Supplies-
    Cheapy MF towel
    Little paint brush
Some APC that is properly diluted for interiors. The one I use is 1:30
    Q-tips
A credit card or plastic card of some sort

Since you found most or all of this at your house I expect everyone to clean vents with no excuses!!!! And if you don`t I`ll come beat you while you sleep

We have a test subject. Also keep in mind that I had to do this my self includeing the rest of the interior of this destroyed car because it was raining and I was at the shop by my self I die a little on the inside everytime I have to detail an interior

So spray some APC directly on the brush and using common sense clean the horizontal vents. Please be carefule when brushing the vents as they can be broke easily if you try to hulk style clean them with the brush

Probably will look something like this after brushing them

Here`s where that credit card comes in handy

CC or plastic card happen to perfect size to to get deep inbetween the vents.

Using the other end of the brush and the MF you get the conors and smaller vent openings

After this Grap a Q-tip with a drop of water on it and swab out any areas that might still have APC or residue left. Total time for this with pics and all we about 3 minutes 2 of those unlocking my phone to take pics. Enjoy clean vents!

That`s just about what I`m doing but I use a small foam paint brush that takes all the residue out quickly and fast..I also will turn on the motor and run the heat on high thought the vents to dry it out as well.

    Good tips!!

Generally I use an all purpose cleaner but one added step I found helps in keeping the area clean is a rinse step...

All purpose cleaners "can" leave a little residue after it dries that becomes a bit tacky and attracts dust. A light spray with clean water and a quick wipe removes the cleaner residue and keeps things looking good longer...

    Just my thoughts..
