Wolfgang`s Deep Gloss Concours Kit Questions

Hey everybody I have a quick question about this product. I actually read alot of good posts on here about this product and thought I would give it a try so I ordered it. One thing I wanted to ask about this product was how long does it take to cure (if necessary) once applied. Just wondering once its applied and say it were to rain on it before its cured would that hurt it?

Also I have a bottle of Pinacle Liquid Souveran that I wanted to put on over the sealant. I read some people getting even better results putting a wax over the top of it. I am not familiar with any of the above products but read alot of good things people had to say about them. Should I get pretty good results putting this over the sealant? How long should one wait after putting on the sealant before appling the Liquid Souveran.

On a side note my car is an 03 Stratus with Indy Red paint so it is fairly new with minimal swirl marks.

Thanks in advance for your advise.

no not once it`s removed (the sealant) - The cure time is (depending on the temp 12-24 hours). Not removal time - The cure time is the wait time between layers - You apply the sealant then wait (15mins to however long you feel like it - some wait as long as an hour..then remove with a MF towel - I think the kit comes with two really nice ones!). You should wait 24 hours to layer anything on the sealant, another layer of Wolfgangs or topping it with Pinnacle - should come out great!

I applied mine to the whole car with a PC using black pad. Once I finished applying it to the whole car, I had a coffee.(about 20 minutes) Then I just wiped it off. It hazes so you can tell when its dry. Also another trick to tell if it ready to be removed, is rub your finger, if it comes off easy and doesn`t smear, its ready. If it smears give it more time to dry.
The "Cure" time is 24 hrs. Cure means when you can add another layer of WG or a topper like S100, #16, Sovereign, etc.

Great job on the car, but let me be the first to say you need to clean the wheel wells, and looks like there is some left over product in the door jambs. This place can be bruital

Thanks everyone for the advise. One more quick ? for ya though. I understand "Cure" time is 24 hours before I should either apply a second coat or the Pinnacle.

What if I get the first coat of Wolfgangs on and say a few hours later I need to take my car out and it rains on it . I would guess thats going to affect the overall finish (durability and so forth) am I true in saying that, or will rain not hurt it during the "Cure" phase.

    Thanks for the help guys

No - it should be good once the product is removed - You don`t have to leave it locked up for 24 hours
