3600 Lumens LED stand build

Great idea and work, I`ve been trying to do something similar myself but I can`t seem to find good LED lights for the project that lights up as well as the 500w halogens do

EcoSmart LED 18W Par 30 (Or Par38) 5K bulb is your answer. Find a basic photographer`s or any decent standard socket light. It`s impressed me with how well it shows defects.

Might try this awesome build, but so far that bulb is awesome! Looking at 1100+ lumen alternatives. For the money of a bulb (30-40) it far outbeats buying a sun gun or have a different setup.

I was loving this idea and thinking of giving it a shot, but a lot of bad reviews for those floodlights on home depot

to the OP - any problems or still functioning ok?

With over 800hrs no problems. These are taken with me mobile also so they get jarred around. Plus I built the set up so the lights are not altered and can be taken back under warranty. Stand is unaltered too and uses existing hardware.
I have similar outside (on the house) and have had issues but only during ice.

Well this stand is in the hands of Andrew Big A. There is a planned shoot out. Rupes vrs rotary. LED vrs halogen.
In attendance tentatively Barry Theal, Franki Lee(overtime detail), DJ Mayo, Greg Gallas. We shall see. Scheduled to happen in the next couple weeks.

I was just looking at lights from HD earlier today... Looks like I have found out which ones I need to start with and then upgrade too... Plus they just look awesome!!!

i will take more pics & compare the Halogens to the LED. i have a couple more pics from the other night. my light tower has 7, 500W halogen bulbs. i use up to 2000w at a time. i want to see what the halogens look like from 10ft away in the same corner of the garage. the LED are BRIGHT!

Can`t wait to see what the big dogs say. The energy/heat reduction is worth it for LED!
