I want to paint my Toyota wheels . I have wheel covers but you can still see the exposed wheel and they look like crap now even though they are only 2 years old.
Any suggestions for the best lasting aresol wheel paint ?Thanks!

I assume you just want them black? I`ve always used Dupli-color wheel paint, but I can`t comment on longevity as I`ll usually paint them a different color before a year is up!

+1 on Duplicolor. I usually give them a couple coats of clear to add to the longevity and overall look. Makes them look a little more factory that way.
One day I`ll get to do my own car.

^^I think you need a chrome finish to start out with. But it`s definately an awesome color!

Hey DC !
That Shadowchrome Blackout coating looks great. it is designed to go over chrome wheels. If you have chrome wheels already, it will have that same look.
I think it looks great too ! The only thing I would do differently is place the wheels on a piece of plywood or something in a way that I can walk around them and not have to spray, stop, move the wheel, spray, stop, move the wheel.
It is always nice to keep the spray can the same distance from the wheel all the way around so you can be assured of getting an equal amount of paint on the wheel.
You van should have nice contrast if you do this I bet !

I wont be taking the wheels off my van ,I will be masking everything off.

I hear Plasti Dip is also some good stuff for wheels. Anyone ever try it?

Some auto paint suppliers can mix oem paint and get it on spray can. Cost is around 20 bucks, but you`ll be getting better material on your wheels...
I have heard nothing but amazing things about Wurth`s wheel paint. I have a little road rash on a small piece of my wheel. I will be testing this out and doing a quick write up.
Duplicolor and from our friends at Wurth USA, have great products when it comes to painting wheels/rims.
