    The Great Business Card IDEA!

I can`t find the thread to the biz card idea but here is a pic of my first two batches.

One is for a client with a BMW Alpina the other is a guys 70 SS Nova. They were made with pics of their actual cars.

I made them on my printer.

My plan is to give them 16 cards (8 cards per sheet) with their car on it and also my contact number.

I`m confused as to the purpose of that... Is it so they will pass on your card to other people? If you can`t find the other thread then maybe you could recap it for those of us who may not have read the other thread.

You got it. Most of my clients love their cars. They will be tickled pink by having their pride and joy on the cards.

I am hoping that this idea will boost the work I get from refferals.

My investment is $20.00 for glossy biz card stock. I will post later if it works or not.

I do the same thing with christmas cards! They love seing their car on a christmas card with a hand-written message on the inside. I have always had referals from these customers.

Good idea, i think i remember seeing this on autopia, I have done something similiar to that, except i have postcards printed and sent out the the neighborhood. I have too many Real high quality Cards to even begin to think about starting to do this (unless it does real well in your testing)

Great idea though Hope it works out for ya!

Superior Shine: Thats a verycreative idea there bro. I think you are correct in the fact that many people are very proud of their cars, so customizing a business card with their own ride on them is a huge excitement factor. However, i would find this approach to be usefull in terms of obtaining additional references from these clients....its pretty much limited to that. For new or potential clientelle i would personally stick with the professional photo of a car and leave it at that.

Please by all means keep us updated on how your clients react, and more importantly, how effective this was in getting new clients.

    Again, a great idea.

    Superior,
I think the thread is on Autopia and was posted by Anthony.

Cool idea. Let us know about your results.

I gave out my first card to a client. She got all excited and showed everybody in her office. She asked me how much more work did I want, then she said "I NEED MORE CARDS!!"

    So far so good.
