    Uber garaged car

Allright, some of you might remember me posting about a `72 Corvette Stingray that I am going to detail. If you remember, I said the entire car was covered in that 3M clear plastic protectant stuff. Well, it turns out only some of the car is (parts of the front half).

So here is the deal. This car is garaged 100% of the time. Of the time it spends in the garage, it is always underneath a car cover. If and when it is driven, it is driven for a maximum of 1-3 hours in an entire month. To put in perspective, Poorboy`s Bold n Bright is still going strong from when I applied it nearly 6 months ago, thats how little this car sees the road.

The car is not original paint. It has been completely redone with a clearcoat paintjob. Its completely set, and there are zero imperfections. There are not any swirls I can find, atleast none to the readily visible eye.

So here is my plan of attack:

    1. Wash
    2. PwC
    3. Megs #7
    4. Possibly Natty`s

Shwat do you guys think? I mean this paint is in so good of condition it doesnt need PP or SSR1, heck it hardly needs PwC. I am mainly asking to make sure Natty`s will bond to #7 properly.

Note: If the general populus thinks it would be a good idea. I can pick up a bottle of #5, which is supposedly an easier glaze to use.

I would only add the #7 for optimum "wetness." The #5 is certainly easier to work with, but at the expense of the true "wetlook" which is so unique to #7.

I think Natty`s will be fine over #7, no first hand experience, just specualtion. Typically carnaubas are not finicky at all.

I need to flag Steve in here to see if he has thought about bonding. But I generally agree with you EBPcivicsi.

OK.....not to step on any toes, especially Steves because he is a great guy.......but have you thought about AIO and then Natty`s or even EX with Carnauba??

Vanilla Moose would work just great on that finish also.

I don`t own AIO. After most people called PwC "AIO on Steroids, but without the breakable bottle" I never really saw a point in buying AIO. I own EX, but I am going for the all out best look possible. I figured that #7 followed by Natty`s would be a great combo, because durability is not a factor.

Im sure AIO is great, as is Vanilla Moose. But I am doing this car on Friday and I wont have time to order those.
