What is your favorite clay to use?
Today i graciously dropped my clay on the ground, so it was gone... anyways, i figured i could hit two birds with one stone, get some new clay, and get a good product.

I have used Claymagic with great results. I just detailed a Saphire Black 330ci BMW, i used fourstar clay (its gray in color) and i must say that it is now officially the best quality claybar in my books.
For the few weeks ive had my Four star products i must say that im thouroughly impressed with the quality, and more importantly, the exceptional results i get when i use them.
I`d recomend FourStar Clay & Spray combo, or you can also go with Claymagic.

I get a good 12-15 larger cars with my Adam`s Bar---and that is split into 2 parts, so you COULD get 30 clayings out of it.

I think all clay bars are pretty decent. Some a little better than others. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the Zaino bar.
Guess I`m the odd man out? :dunno
I like the Griot`s clay, but the blue Claymagic is good too. The Claymagic is definitely stickier. If you want the clay to last, use a cleaner or polish before claying or the clay is going to pick up dirt and oxidized paint, which will cut its life in half at a minimum. Believe me, our paint managed to survive polishing without claying for many years when we didn`t have clay, but now people act like you will destroy your paint if you polish prior to claying. You won`t. Of course, if you really keep after your paint all year round, you can clay first because you don`t have a significant amount of dirt in the paint to start with.
If one breaks of a chunk of the claybar about the size of a silver dollar, that piece easily can do four - five cars. I found it also helps that it will fit in my hand and I can "feel" when the surface is smooth. For me, I find there are many imitators, but only one clay magic. I also add that the Federal Courts tend to agree.

Gim-me a car with finns... :naughty and I`ll shows ya what detailin`s all about... :jump
It will vary how long the bars will last. Nicks 10-15 large vehicles has to be because they are garage kept or are always well maintained. The average person does NOT know what clay is for so when one of us detailers do their cars for the first time its ugly. You can make a bar last 10-20 cars or 2.

WAZ UP DC CLAY MAGIC hands down the best clay bar out there i use the blue (half the bar) as lube i use GLIPTONE Body gloss. Then I throw out the clay ( I NEVER use the same bar on two cars u can do more damage then good ) then i seal it with a home made sealer C-YA
NO John, not all the cars were garage queens. Part of the reason why my bars don`t get gunked up as quick is because I do a tar and bug remover on the lower extremities of the vehicle before going to town.
