Got to admit that I`m a little chicken-sh*t to put my PC on the glass. I`m not familiar with "light cut". Is it a glaze? It really has diminishing abrasives? Or is it more chemical like AIO? I`ll have to look that up. I use EO 20/20 and I know that by itself, any water spots are still there.

Thanks for the tips and the side shot. I couldn`t put my finger on it, but Badmother is right...the missing pillar makes the shape look as smooth as its paint.
Don`t cry honey. I wasn`t polishing the car again. I swear! :naughty

I have actually used my high speed rotary on glass so the PC or the Cyclo is really very safe......in a relative manner

Light Cut is not so much a mechanical cleaner/polish as it is a chemical one. It is safe to use on glass and plastic. Here is a link http://www.topoftheline.com/hitligcutswi.html

It works best when used with a high speed rotary but if the paint is in good to fair condition it will make great improvements to that piant with either a PC or by hand.

    Hope that helps,
    Anthony

    Hey Anthony,

I haven`t been on much this weekend, but wanted to thank you for the tips and encouragement. I still can`t believe you folks on this site have convinced me to put power tools to my paint (and a wimpy PC... not a rotary)....but now my glass??? OK, I`ll give it a try. Especially since our 2 month old vehicle has H2O spots on the windshield.

Thanks for your help (I love this site!)
