I got the news today right from the horses mouth. I am going to try and pick up about 5 bottles of the stuff where ever I can find it online. I loved this product on my tires when I felt like a higher gloss that Z16. Oh well....

DK, the Rite-Aid drug store in my area has a few bottles of those. You want me to grab a few for you?

DK who did you hear that from TW???

My local Pep boys must have a pallet of that stuff. I never thought to use it cause I dislike the gels and how they get all stuck in the nooks and crannies of my tire sidewalls.

Hmmmmm Maybe I will run to the store for some.

Does it get sticky and attract dust? like some other gels?

I`ve tried the Formula 2001 protectant for dash and vinyl, wasn`t too crazy about it. The glossiness was about at the level of Vinylex, but the durability was low.

I`m sure the trilicone in its Tire Gel is glossier and has better durability. DK, you kinda got me curious about it too. Might look good on my Zaino`d silver Honda.

Glossy, easy to use, nice shine, and no mess. It lasts from wash to wash......It`s a gel, but not like endurance....more like a waxy formula.

They said they have some kind of tire wax now, but I have never seen or tried it.

I have heard comments about both this tire gel and TW microfiber towels but I have not seen either in my frequent trips to any auto parts store I find. I guess some of this stuff is just not available in So Cal, which seems strange to me..

    DK,

Have seen it and used it. Not sure if it is as glossy, but I like it. It`s a white liquid, but way too thick to spray. I just apply it with the Tire Wipes and it looks fine. I would recommend it as an alternative to the gel. It`s only about $5 a bottle, so if you don`t like it, it is no big deal.

I`ve used it in the past and its a pretty good product. I guess the main reason why I wouldn` mind getting some is because its being discontinued. Laters

I can picture it now.... your shelves packed with the stuff and you trying to decide if a tire is "gel worthy"

Is it durable? This product gets pretty decent reviews so I was just waiting to pick it up, but I guess I better get it now. Maybe next week it will be in the bargin bin like the Meguires old tire gel, got it for a dollar at Walmart!!!

DK, have you tried the regular turtlewax version in the darker green bottle? They probably sell that and maybe it`ll work similarily?
