NO, unless they make one that is, but standard windex is not.

Windex has a special "automotive" line cleaner (at about twice the price!)that`s clear, rather than blue. Basically, keep away from anything with ammonia (or ammonia D, which I heard stands for Deodorized).

Stoner`s Invisible Glass is fine for tint. Says so on the package. Actually it says if you have certain types of tint it is not safe but I think that is the cheapy stuff.

If you look around, especially at beaters with tinted windows, you will see some with what appears to be bubbling or areas of glass where the tinting has a mosaic look. That`s from the ammonia reacting with the tinting. It happens over a period of time. The guy that installed my tinting said that ammonia reacts with UV. It`s OK to use ammonia on the outside. However, I got rid of all of my ammonia based products because I didn`t want to grab the wrong item by mistake. I have one car with tinting and one without. Most products say to test on an inconspicuous area. I`ve never found such a place with glass.

The best window cleaner I have ever used is Four Star. I ran out and started using Stoners and it doesn`t seem to even touch it.

I`ve used windex and stoners on my tinted windows for nearly 9 years and have not ever had a problem with either.

I`ve also started applying window tint with a windex/dishsoap mix and have had great results that way too.

Then again, that`s me, but I don`t trust what`s scribbled down on paper a whole lot. :p

Stoners is about the best that I have ever used. The local detail supplier here has a glass cleaner that is a knock off of Stoners but in no way compares.
