Can someone post a link that teaches why having your car detailed by a pro is important and why car washes are terrible for your car. Thanks a lot!

because car washes take 15 minuets and professionals take 6 hours. ... so that means that it will come out 25 times better, right?

I guess when it comes down to it a car wash is better than nothing.
The biggest problem with most car washes is they induce light scratches into the pain causing your car to look old before its time ... kinda like many of us
Having your car detailed by a pro or yourself with the proper products will:
    1. Keep your car looking new longer
    2. It will add a layer of protection so your paint will hold up longer
    3. It will increase the resale value
    4. The detailer will be able to point out potential problems in the paint so they can be fixed before
    becoming more of a problem
    5. You can ride around in a car that is clean on the inside too ... you can even see out the windows
    6. It will make you proud to drive it
    7. The professional detailer needs to feed his or her family
I am sure there are a lot more reasons but I will let some others share their thoughts

Would you want your brain surgery performed by a dentist; they are Doctors aren`t they??

Most vehicles are a large investment. Maintaining ones vehicle in top shape is one of the best ways of protecting this investment. Detailing is like prevenitive maintenice. Along these lines, would you wait until your investment was belching white smoke before you gave it a tune-up and an oil change??

Car washes (most) deal in "quantity" and professional detailers deal in "quality" (most). The average tunnel wash does I think on the low end, 100 cars/day with a monthly employee turn around rate of about 68 percent. Low pay, hard work, a lot of overhead, and a lot of cars... where is the motivation for a quality product? This is not always the case, some car washes do a fantastic job and many times I take mine to one*. Another thing to consider is time efficiency... a Mobile detailer can come to you while you are at work, allowing you to multi-task.

These are just a few... I know there are even more.

*pm me if you need to know why
A happy customer tells a friend ... An unhappy one tells many friends !!!

Gim-me a car with finns... :naughty and I`ll shows ya what detailin`s all about... :jump
