    Engine Detailing

Ive got a question . i went to a detailing training class this week and the instructor told us to stay away from detailing engines .ive never had any problems . heres my routine .citrus cleaner, power wash engine , air dry engine with high pressure . then apply dressing and close hood , proceed to wash car and return to engine after most everything is done. he said you can open youself up to big problems . what do you guys think about doing engines ????:doh :hah

get sketched out when doing engines but if you are careful and take the right percautions you should be fine

cover electrical uniys with aluminum foil i.e. air filter housing along with mass air flow sensor, distributor or coil, water sending unit, ecm, etc..

i like to top it off with wd-40 to make it shine and protect it in one shot
