It seems like when I use a MF on glass it just grabs and will not move easily across the glass, it`s very annoying. When apply product it`s not as bad because the product lubricates the cloth. Drying is the tough part. Anyone else have this happen?

what`s denatured alcohol? I do have a film buildup on one of d car and it`s really nasty when it`s raining, I tried with dish washing liquid and autoglym glass polish, as well as meguiar DC polish, no luck . It`s quite dangerous driving at night and if it`s pouring :wait :wait , the windows r seriously in terrible state ( the previous owner didn`t take good care of them)Originally posted by stainbuster
Blue surgical (huck) towels work wonders. Sometimes if glass has a film buildup, will use denatured alcohol mixed 1:10 with water.
KleenFreak, Are you dealing with a particular symptom at this time, or just a general question?
A man has got to recognize his limitations, and then learn how to adapt within those confines. Then go out and conquer.
Stoners and Eagle 20/20 work really well. Just spray one side of MF towel and wipe. then turn towel over and buff dry.
circus,
not sure exactly the chemical nature of DA, but it`s available at hardware stores, WalMart, and the like. Usually found near paint supplies, like laquer thinner and solvents.
Had a problem with horrible film build-up and water spotting on my glass from the sprinklers. None of my glass cleaners would touch it. Tried 10:1 denatured alcohol/water, sprayed on, let dwell, LIGHTLY srcrbbed with #000 steel wool, dried then final cleaned with Stoner`s.
But for maintenence, Stoner`s or Sprayaway with surgical or MF towels work perfect.

The reason Stoner IG does not leave streaks because it evaporates 100%
