Tannery Wash-n-Wax equivalent?

Years ago I used to use a product called Tannery Wash-n-Wax Car Wash for car washes during the winter months. It was a silicone car wash that left a pretty good film of silicone on the car as you washed it. Unfortunately, I see it`s no longer made. Does anybody know of a similar silicone car wash product currently available? I tried several of the carnauba wash & wax products available today and they don`t seem to leave any type of protection behind on the car. Thank you.

During the winter months I use QEW. ONR is another popular no rinse product. I can`t speak for ONR, but QEW does contain some sort of wax protection. It`s not much, but you can always follow up with a spray wax for a little added protection during the winter....

If you`re not familiar with these products, the idea is to be able to wash your car without rinsing...

Works great for "garage washing".

Luster - Thank you for your response to my post, but rinsing is not the problem. Tannery Wash-n-Wax was not a no-rinse product. Maybe I should have been more clear in my posting. What I`m looking for is a car wash that will leave some sort of protection behind (however slight it may be). The Tannery product left a surprisingly good layer of silicone behind. When you rinsed it off, the water would bead immediately as if the car had just been waxed. None of the carnauba wash & wax products I have tried do this. In fact, none of them seem to leave anything behind at all. I`m not familiar with the two products you have mentioned, but I will look into them. Once again, thank you for your input.

Although I haven`t tried them, you might find these similar (based on your description)
```kenwax, S100 spray wax, Pig Spit, Blackfire Ivory spray wax, FastWax, Top Secret Wax.

Try searching the web for "aerosol wash wax" and you should be able to find lots of companies selling such product.

might want to add DURAGLOSS AQUA WAX. spray it on your car after washing, while still wet, then dry. excellant product. as far a wash/wax, i have been using eagle one nano wash & wax. leaves a nice finish.

Poorboy`s Super Slick & Wax will do that. Also, as mentioned, you could wash with a regular soap and then after the rinse, before drying, spray on some Duragloss Aquawax before you dry. It is a very good product and will give you a few weeks of protection. It actually works better after you dry the car, because it isn`t diluted, but that would add an extra step and it sounds like you are trying to avoid that.
