I would get some APC spray it down real good scrub it and then hit it with the pressure-washer Bro.
I personally have never tried the Mags Supreme Shine (don`t think you can go wrong with it). Let me know what you think about it after your done.

Ok thanks...I wonder how well scrubbing bubbles would do on this. I used to clean my golf clubs with it and it did wonders for it.

I find this interesting in a funny way too since I see some nasty foot weels and then see a huge pic of Meg`s protectant as if that would clean it...of course, you just have to read this. The protectant is the least of the important questions.

I would have thought a pic of meg`s apc would be more appropriate,

    Re: Cleaning rubber/ Vinyl help

Easy to clean that...use a vaunum to pickup the loose stuff...then with some warm water in a tub, stiff brush and some APC...wet down....APC sprayed on...let dwell for a few minutes...then brush like crazy...use a big cotton towel to pickup what`s left...then I would use the APC straight and a MF towel to finish up and clean what`s left over...

For the rugs I would do the same but with clean water once you`ve cleaned the rubber area...as for protection you want to be careful with that on rubber it makes it slick...I would spray some on and use a soft towel to buff out real good and let dry

Personally, I`m hesitant to use any dressing on rubber/vinyl foot mats. The bottom of a driver`s foot contacts the dressed mat, picks up some silicone or whatever they use to make a shine, and that foot now goes to a gas or brake pedal, possibly transferring some slickness to the pedals.
I wouldn`t do that. Why take a chance?

I agree that`s why I said that it makes the rubber slick...I`ve done it, but buffed like crazy to get it even and take the bulk of the dressing off

^^ I agree. Used some tire shine once and will never do it again.
Got the seats shampooed and the vinyl clean, Did not put anything else on it. Used scrubbing bubbles to clean it and let it air dry.

Smile Re: Cleaning rubber/ Vinyl help

I have tried everything on trying to clean very oxidized trim moldings and nothing worked until today. The body side moldings were on a 1986 Cadillac Seville. The rest of the car shined like a diamond but cleaning those moldings was a sore spot for me. I tried an experiment today and it worked a miracle. I wet a Scotch green pad with some Westley`s Bleach White and they came out like new. I could not believe my eyes. After that I put on some vinyl dressing and it was like it was when I bought it brand new. Hope this helps.
