I use the European Foam Hand Polish Applicators, they come in Orange, Green, Yellow and the Gold color ones and they have work very well for me in tight spots Charles.

These are the ones I was asking about.

I got only the orange and white pads with mine. Either I got odd ones or the white are a little rough, as I get marring with them on my black paint.

The handle is very comfy, though. I`m using mine with a towel wrapped around the pad and it works pretty well (not really using it to its full potential this way).

Are you possibly referring to the "Polishing Pal"?
I don`t think there is a `handle" with the ones I linked to. They are just an oval foam pad.
Your comment about marring on your black paint doesn`t sound too good. If they mar your black paint, they will probably mar my red or white paint. I don`t think I would be very happy about that.

I would think that marring would depend on you choice of pad and product.but I have never used those like in the link that Charles posted.

i have a set of them. havent gotten to use them much but so far im pleased with them. managed to get some major marring out of a red truck first time using them and first time messing around with polishes. the large size of them makes applying sealants and waxes on trucks go a bit faster. if winter werent only a few weeks away id consider getting a few more of these things.

The red pad is great for waxes and sealants I always use them over the round ones. They are larger and the CCS desigh really works well just like in their buffing pads.

Sounds like you would have a lot of product waste. The small applicator soaks up plenty I wind up with as much in it as on the car.

Re: Lake Country CCS foam hand applicators

I was mostly interested in using the polishing one.
Right now, any hand polishing I do is with a terry applicator and it does seem to work OK.
Maybe I just think I need to be buying something.

For applying your LSP, these are my favorite by far. The applicator side is a very close density foam. They work great with a paste, liquid or even very thin liquid products such as Opt-Seal.

They aren`t always that easy to find and I don`t think any of the DC sponsors carry them.
I have purchased them at Auto Zone, but not recently.
They are available on-line if you look hard enough.

    YEP I LOVE MINE
The handle keeps you from getting product all over your hands and is much easier to hang on too.
