    Old Buick...

I am detailing a buick le sabre tomorrow that looks similar to this.

Well the wheels have pretty much baked on brake dust? The last car I did for this guy had chrome plated wheels and I could get the baked on brake dust off with polish. What should I do on rims like these to get this baked on brake dust off? I have no wheel acid.

    Thanks,
    Blake

I have a few wheels brushes, nothing to aggresive though. They are not hubcaps. Hopefully some wheel and tires cleaner that I can pick up at the store will do it. Any suggestions?

Megs Hot Rims is a good OTC...I would start with mixing this with water on a 4-1 water to cleaner...its pretty strong that`s why I say that..then you can go stronger as needed....since these rims are not chrome they can stain a bit easier than normal.....

If they do stain in anyway...use a paint cleaner or PB PP it will clean them up quickly
