I have to agree Poorboys wheel sealant is best product I have used..
I bought my chrome wheels over winter and put on 6-8 coats front and back and nothing stuck to them. What can I say winters are long in Wi. LOL
WOW =O those are really gleaming!!!!!
UPDATE:
The wife hasn`t given me hell for using the table!
Pockets, those are FastCo Titanium Finish wheels!
Now, I applied this stuff in March... 3 coats. Washed the car MANY times all through the spring, summer and fall...Up to mid November, I removed the wheels to install my winter set and the dirt/dust comes off like a charm! NOTHING was stuck to it! Now they are in my basement and I will clean the wheels and re-apply 3 more coats! I also apply 3 coats to the back of the wheel... Great Product!
How I applied it. Apply the product, let it cure, buff off with a mega plush m/f towel. The repeat the steps 2 more times! (yes it takes time, the reason the coffee table was used, watching TV at the same time! )

I really love the durability of this stuff too. I`ll be getting my 19`s prepped for the summer season soon. Those wheels are a pain to clean and the sealant will make it a lot easier. I know it`s a simple product, but it makes the life of a detailer so much easier.

Do I need to take the wheels off to seal the inside of the wheels? How often do you seal on the back of the wheels? Thanks for the review. I will get some PB WS for myself.

You must remove the wheels to do the inside of them and they should be polished well before using the sealant..take one off at a time in case you run out of time.Originally Posted by tyltan
^^ he`s right! For me, I have installed winter tires on their stock wheels. These are my summer wheels and I`ll do them sometime this winter with a cold beer and watching TV!
So take one off at a time to do it. You don`t need to do the inside, but for me, that`s the perfectionist in me that did it!

On average how long does the sealant last on wheels per a coat?
It varies per user...most people get 3-4 monthsOriginally Posted by FrEsHnClean

That is a good amount of time..is that per a coat? How many coats would you reccomend per an application? Up to how many coats would it be unnecesary? how many coats would you reccomend for the poor boy`s sealant
Also I have another question regarding a wheel sealant on my rims in another thread...would your poorboy`s wheel sealant work for my rims here.... http://www.detailcity.org/forums/tir...tml#post208258
2-3 coats every 3-4 months would be fine. One would get you by for a good time though. You can add as many coats as you desire but anything over 3 would be overkill, IMO
