I am working on a show car Supra and need some advice. I`ve pretty much cleaned it up as much as it can be at this point. Next week sometime we are going to be replacing all the silicone hoses with new ones, so I`m not too concerned about those. My concern is with the polished pieces. I have used metal polish and the Eagle 1 wadding polish in the silver can (I forget the name). I also polished the chrome strut tower bar. Is there anything else I should do to this engine to make it look it`s very very best? I hadn`t done it yet in this picture, but I applied Wolfgang to all the painted pieces and surfaces of the engine bay. I need to reapply some CD2 to the hoses to increase the gloss, but I wanted to see how much of it we kept and what we replaced. I`m just trying to think of anything else I can do to make this engine win an award at a massive Supra show in Vegas at the end of the month. Here are some pictures. Any advice is appreciated.
The engine isn`t clear coated. Any other ideas to make the dull paint look better?
I`ve polished the chrome with everything I know how to use. Any advice from someone who has seen better results?
Really I am looking for the best bang for the buck when this hood is up. I want people to walk by this and stare in awe at the cleanliness. Nevermind the 800HP that the engine produces... :lol He won a trophy in 2001 for the cleanest engine at this show and I really want him to win it again.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
