C6 corvette hatch interior trim cleaning!

If anyone has ever looked at inner hatch panel on thr c6 corvette you’ll know it’s a matte black plastic panel and mine isn’t looking good.

It has run marks and water stains on it and I’ve got no clue how to even begin cleaning this.

I can take better pics. My degreaser didn’t do a thing- can’t remember if I used ISO

The thing about matte surfaces is that once they are stained it is difficult to get it to look right. Especially if it has water stains on it. You could try one of the cleaners from Dr. Beasley`s and dress it or coat it. It is a common thing on C6`s for that area to get stained.

GM plastic quality is "suspect" and "sub-par" to say the least, to be politically correct about it. You and others may disagree, but "proof`s in the pudding". That said, "it is what it is". (Remember Captain Obvious (me) is also know as Captain Cliche)

So once someone figures out what to do with this C6 Vette GM plastic, I want to know how to "fix" it as well.
No, I do not own a `Vette, but I do detail GM vehicles now and then, and getting the plastic to look right without streaking or being blotchy after using a protectant (Aerospace 303) on that particular plastic material seems to ANOTHER Achille`s heel in my detailing abilities.
