Good move, I`m 100% confident that it was the right decision for you.

Now get a gazillion pads, and consider MF ones, which are quick/easy to clean with an air comressor (you do have one, right? Like, at least a cheapie from HF or something?). Just FWIW...I simply *HATE* those HexLogic pads, and/or any others with molded recesses in `em. Those recesses retain (often dried-out) product and cut-off clear and diminish the working surface area. All bad IMO, but I guess some people like `em...
Based on looks and ergonomics I think it will make me happier
People can scoff at that, but a happy craftsman is often a better craftsman.
Better on my hands I bet as there’s a handle/grip vs the PC .. basically holding the motor the entire time the damn things on
    Exactly!
Screw the money. What turned out to be $15 more upgrade escalated quickly!!(thanks @accumulator! Lol).
Always happy to help others spend their money

Keep the PC. Get some brushes for it to clean carpet, seats, etc. it’s also a time saver to clean tires prior to coating. Get a 3 inch backing plate and use it to get to hard to reach spots. For $120 the PC can do a lot of jobs very well.

I hadn`t considered that (did consider the 3" pads) as I`m spoiled by how brushes work on the Cyclo. They must be OK (or better) on the PC or nobody would bother using it for that.

Although in this case, I think phatkid77 is gonna be better served by the Boss15, and I don`t think we could`ve convinced him to have both.

Can I clean carpet with the g15 too?

I’m positive the g6 would have been MORE than ample for my needs. I like to overkill sometimes. Haha

Not sure what`d work with the Boss15, I`ve only used the 4" ones on my Cyclo (you can get those from Cyclotoolmakers dot com). I`m certain that somebody makes them in 5-5.5", would be shocked if not.

If you get one, DO NOT lift it up off the carpet while it`s spinning If you think that polish can sling and make a mess....

Heh heh, I might not even get the nasty bits done that fast so I can start on washing the body proper!

[INSERT usual lecture about trying to rush stuff ]

And I bet you`ll be glad I helped spend your money when you see the diff compared to that PC The "buy once cry once" advice you got was spot-on IMO. Now there shouldn`t really be *any* need to upgrade your polisher, ever.

    Re: LMAO lucky day

That`s the universal rule in life...but ugggh, like auto detailing, cooking is a huge hobby of mine. Don`t even ask me how much I`ve been spending on copper cookware over the last 6 months...it`s baaaadd. LOL, It`s like detailing chems/polishes. Between the 2 houses we have, I have enough cookware to probably outfit 5 kitchens
