    Wax applicator pad

Does anybody make an applicator pad with a handle. I just think it would make applying a paste wax much easier and faster. If they don’t I’m gonna try to make something out of this.

It’s for oil based paints and stains. The white fibers are pretty soft. I might try to attach a low nap microfiber to it and cut an inch off of each end. The pads are replaceable. Nothing to lose. Another idea is to put some Velcro on the pad and cut a soft foam pad to fit. I want square or rectangle to get close to the trim edges. You could use it for sealant too but I wouldn’t (da for that). Don’t have to worry about trim staining Yal probably think I’m nuts but I still have 1 or 2 brain cells left. Lol

But I think the "tool" you are looking for is this, as it attaches to a variety of 4" foam pads used for applying compounds, polishes, waxes and sealants:

Anyone used the Wolfgang pad. No reviews on it which is usually a good thing

Google "hex grip wax applicator". You should get plenty of hits if that`s the style you`re looking for.

It is big and it`s going to absorb a lot of your product.. And you have to be careful to keep equal pressure all the way down those long sides..
For my needs, something this large would only be good for long, straight panels like on those 12 passenger vans or just the body of an airplane..

    Re: Wax applicator pad

I don`t like a handle because it`s harder to judge how much pressure I`m using. I only want to apply just enough pressure to apply the product, and no more. So even with my hands the way they are, I prefer just the pad and my hand. Just my reasoning
