    Annual detail on Tundra

Might not be as pretty as what the professional can do but I’m happy.
Wash (2 bucket) optimum car wash (pressure washed first with gas pressure washer
    Dry with backpack leaf blower
Polished with jescar medium polish. Tried the jescar micro finishing polish first but it didn’t have much bite. Didn’t need hardly any correction just a good cleaning of the paint. GG6 on 4 with white foam pad. Only clayed the hood. LSP Jescar Power Lock. Will do the roof and wheels tomorrow Aquapel on windshield. First time user for aquapel

From one Tundra owner to another, looks awesome. These things have a lot of real estate. Details take a lot out of you, for sure. How is the durability on Power Lock? I have Color Lock on the shelf, was wondering how they`d be in combination

Thanks. You got that right about taking it out of you. I got 8-10 months out of the powerlock. It’s not a daily driver and is kept under cover. Only driven 7k a year and only 3 times in the rain. Never tried color lock. I’m sure somebody here has. I’d like to know also

Great work, something tells me your truck is probably on par with the results of most pros details.

Under cover! Now that is taking truck care to the Autopian level.

I rarely see Tundra’s around here, usually Fords, Chevys and Dodges. I really like those wheels and the grill looks awesome. I’ve never seen a Platinum Tundra. Put a Lexus badge on that and Lexus could sell a $70,000 pickup too

Hah, I just paid closer attention to your photo and noticed your “under cover” is probably the metal roof car port.

I initially thought you were putting a car/truck cover on your Tundra

    Which is it?

The carport. Airborne stuff still gets on it but not the sun and rain/snow

Looking great there! I have a similar color on our Camry, it definitely pops in the sun.

Come to think of it I think the new paint on the rear has off-gassed enough. I think it`s time for a detail on it!

Looks awesome, I love your choice. I also love my metallic grey Tundra quad cab.
