    ONR as quick detailer

Im beginning to think ONR might be my new quick detailer. Every time I do an ONR wash I`m impressed by how clean the car is without any streaks, overspray, smears, or anything that shows in the sun.

How many of you guys have gone to ONR as your go to quick detailer?

I use ONRWW mixed with distilled water in a ten to one ratio per Optimum`s recommendation.

I greatly prefer IUJD, but yeah...my Rinseless Wash (at QD-strength) will eventually replace my QDs if/when I use up the latter.

Used it for years this yay.

Thinking about trying something else- any suggestions?
Possibly something from Poorboys or Duragloss?

    I`m all about multi-purpose products

Trifecta is so slick when used as a spray wax/QDer, ONR lacks slickness for this purpose imo.

Agreed. I am really liking McKee`s 37 N914 right now as a QD mixed as a waterless wash mix.It outperforms ONR in that aspect.

    Re: ONR as quick detailer

I used n914 this weekend for rinse less and clay and it and it was slick. For some reason onr always left streaks for me and it never felt slick enough with clay alternatives. It worked well for clay, but I used glide after I got a clay towel. It`s possible I was doing something wrong?! I really like Wolfgang Uber which adds some extra gloss, but it is somewhat spendy. I have some some left in a 16 oz bottle and a full gallon on the shelf.

I like Uber as a detail spray or clay lube. Works well as a RW too but in my experience doesn`t clean quite as well as ONR and needs a lot of buffing or it can be streaky. Leaves a glossier finish than ONR, which is nice for maintenance washes but I prefer ONR when I`m going to be waxing.

The instructions recommend 2.5 oz per gallon, I seem to recall you using a much greater concentration, is that correct?

I like ONR, but not as a quick detailer or even clay lube. IMO it lack the slickness I want in a product for those applications.

    Re: ONR as quick detailer

I, of course, recommend Garry Dean`s IUDJ. Slick as any QD I`ve used, rivals spray waxes other than durability. I`ll never get over how pleasantly surprised I am about that stuff...never woulda thunk it, was all predisposed towards saying it was snake oil, especially after my experiences with ONR and some others. So slick I had a "Holy [crap]" moment when I got a lot on my brake rotors once, SURE never expected that, not in a million years...wouldn`t have believed it if somebody else said it happened.
