Hi
What do you guys suggest I use for polishing spots by hand where I can`t fit my Griots Garage DA? I`ll be using Meg`s 205.
A Micro Fiber pad maybe? Yellow wax pad?

CarPro gloves?

Heh heh, I suggest that you use something else
But OK....
I generally just use a MF towel rather than a (foam-core) pad. I`ll sometimes use either the foam waxing pad or a cut-up machine pad, but generally I just use the regular MF. IMO by the time you get things (in the tight spots) good enough to switch to the Finishing Polish it`s just a matter of personal preference as long as you`re choosing between various options that don`t contribute any cut of their own.A Micro Fiber pad maybe? Yellow wax pad?
What`re you gonna use for the initial/aggressive work in those tight spots?
I`ve found my MF gloves to be most useful when handling fragile items that I don`t want to get fingerprints/skin oils on. None of my other "I`ll use these for..." plans ever really worked out. I can maybe see them working OK for some kinds of washing, but for polishing? Nah, can`t imagine it. But since YMMV I bet somebody`s gonna say they`re great for it!
we use hand foam pads that are made of the same material as the machine pads
life is short ..do it while you can

I like the applicators with a right angle, like the the one`s Paul posted above, as opposed to tapered ones with seams (worst) or beveled ones. To that end, any of your 4" pads work well for hand polishing, but I *do* hate that I`m "wasting" the velcro, and it can be a scratch hazard.
Speaking of those tapered applicators with melted seams, did you know that you can cut the seam off around the pad with scissors, and end up with a "normal" pad. I do this to the red CCS applicators that DI has, but also works for yellow applicators.

Awesome. Thanks! I didn`t even know they made these!
I hardly use those yellow applicators for anything anymore. I`m glad that you guys didn`t suggest them. Not a big fan.
I didn`t know you could cut the seems off the yellow applicators. I just assumed they would split in two if you did that.
