    Polish Angel High Gloss question

O.K. to use the new PA High Gloss Spray on a coated car? I`ve got one DD coated with Gyeon CanCoat and the other coated with Wolfgang Uber Ceramic. Both topped up recently with Kamikaze Over Coat. Would you try the new High Gloss Spray on these cars or do you think it would be a waste? Looking forward to receiving my High Gloss on Monday!

Re: Polish Angel High Gloss question

I`m glad op started this as I`ve been waiting to ask a few questions about HG application variables.

I`m going to be the ugly duckling here and ask about best practice for HG application as I will be applying it on a non-coated, daily driven, non polished, half waxed 1.5 months ago, the rest 1 yr ago. Car has not had a proper Decon/polish in 1 year (shame on me I know!).

So what is best medium to apply? Website instructs `very` little and then spread. So am I supposed to interpret 1 spray per panel. Panel defined as 1 door panel for example or should I do 2 door panels with 1 spray?
Should one use short hair MF towel or a suede towel or long hair MF towel?

I know HG is trickling down to members and for those who have used it already, what conditions and mediums did you use would be great to know.

Re: Polish Angel High Gloss question

I spray an X across a folded short nap micro, wipe on 1/2 regular panel (1/3 large) then wipe off with fluffy micro

Then I spray another X in different direction, etc etc......

Then once micro is saturated I keep using less and less filling in non stained parts of micro

Re: Polish Angel High Gloss question

Some preliminary feedback from using it (I couldn`t resist or wait any longer) on my car. Outside temp in mid 50`s. Car was washed & dried right before.
MF towel did get saturated as others mentioned. Which I wasn`t sure how to deal with in the sense that with other products like QD`s I`d wring out the excess and continue using MF. But at the cost of HG, it didn`t seem right. I did tend to just spray on panels, and most likely used more pdct than necessary. Went on easy. No streaking. I did `buff` with dry MF but at times I didn`t `see` HG on panels but still buffed since that`s what instructions said. I could see HG been layered on panel and it would `disappear` after a few seconds.
I did not use gloves and my hand was red... Dawn & scrubbing took it out but I`d recommend using gloves for anyone not using them when applying HG.
Car looked nice after, certainly more gloss/shine in the sun than before.
I may try applying it again next wash and before winter really sits in.
