    Rail Dust

How and what do I need to use to remove the rail dust from a white vehicle?

I was told that rail dust is small rust spots from the brake dust. Is this true??

I want to remove it, it looks like I have small rust starting. I know it is not rust from the sheet metal. Because I can remove it with my finger nail.

I need help in removing this pain in the A$$ stuff.

The answer to your question is a clay bar. Any one of our sponsors on this site have clay bar supplies. Get your self a lubricant such a QEW( a waterless wash mix into a QD solution), a dedicated QD, a dedicated claybar solution spray, a mix of soap and water in a spray bottle or use the car wash soap and a bucket of warm water and a sponge to help lubricate the paint when using the claybar.

Use the search button at the top of the page to find a whole host of threads regarding the claying process. In lieu of that you can use the sponsor that you order from to get information as to the "HOW TO`s of using clay.

You should try some detailing clay to get that rail dust off. That should get it then go over your car with some polish. Good luck!

I agree with the clay. Clay the whole car and it will look and feel amazing. just remember to polish and wax after. go to www.adamspolishes.com for a video on how to clay and such. Good luck and have fun
