If people ask me to look over their cars, I have a small green LED light I carry with me. It makes swirls and scratches show up clear as day. Tells me how bad the surface is rather quickly.

Yep, its a great tool. Not as good as a nice setup of Mercury Vapor bulbs, but it sure as heck is cheaper.

SquirrelMaster - that sounds cool. But, I was under the impression you would use more than just S&W? (Wash/Waxes, clay, interrior leather cleaner, basically everything I`ve read about in this forum, etc??) Don`t take this the wrong way, but I just don`t wanta ride 70+ miles & pay that much, for a S&W that I could do here.

Also, just outta curiosity, why do you hook up a PC?

    Thanks again.

I think what he meant is that he wants the car to be decently free of major crud when he starts. So that he can use S&W to clean off the surface before he starts everything else.

    Atleast, I think so.

Yup, Tassadar had it right. I was going to give you more details when you call rather than right it all down. Sorry, I should have gone into more detail about the detail

    SquirrelMaster -

I`ll try and give you a call later this week or this weekend.

Also, I have a friend in the Jenison/Grandville area that we may be able to meet at his house. I was planning on going up there anyway to show him my new car. It`s just a few miles off 96. I was speaking with him briefly today about a chance meeting up with a `detailer` from Holland. He wanted me to ask if you do bikes? He`s gotta 2000 Harley 1200 Sportster. Though he said he keeps it well shined/cleaned, he still wanted me to ask you.
Heck - if you do, I may have just brought you 2 peices of new business.

If so, what would ya charge for the bike?

Thanks again. I`ll try to catch up with you later.

That would be great! I have done a few bikes; I just sold my CBR F3. I charged $60 for the bikes I have done in the past, however, if he would let us use his place I would charge him $40. I am available M-Th anytime, I work a 12 hr weekend chift at a Pharmaceutical plant hear in holland so I don`t accomplish much on the weekends but I get off at 7pm Fri-sat-sun. I will bring the digicam out so you can post a pic for Tassadar to admire. I was going to do my Wrangler this afternoon but a customer called up and wants his Sierra done. The thing is sittin on 22" rims, it might use up all my chrome polish! You have a good weekend and I will look forward to heariing from you.
