    Tire Gels

I have been using Meguiars Endurance Matte Tire gel. I am looking
for something with more gloss. I know Meguiars makes a couple more
types like the Endurance high gloss and the professional #38 tire gel.
Anyone had experience with these or other products to reccomend?
I like the gels for application amd no sling properties.

Ditto. If you`re a gel man, then I`d have a look at Turbo-Wax Tire Gel or WG.

#38 won`t be more glossy than the matte version of endurance. They do make a high gloss version of endurance.

I`ve been trying out several dressings lately, so far #38 is my favorite, but I still have a few that I have not tried out yet (so many tire dressings, so little time ), including Sonus, BnB, Optimum, and Mothers FX.

I use the Meguiar`s High Endurance Gel... the shiny kind, not the Matte kind. If you like what you currently have, just switch to the shinier kind. It`s the perfect shine. Not overbearing, but you`d take a second glance.

    Re: Tire Gels

I received my Meguiars Endurance High Gloss Tire Gel Friday and have had a chance to use it. I like it. Gives a nice high gloss look and it is not greasy after it dries. It seems to be absorbed into the rubber. I let it cure for about 45 mins before driving and nothing sticks to the tire.
The Matte version of the Meguiars Endurance is also a good product is also a good product for those wanting a low gloss product.
The new Armor All Tire Gel is not a product I would recomend. It is greasy and does not dry. Everything sticks to the tire after application. It also eats up a sponge applicator. I think I throw it in the garbage with the applicator that it destroyed. At least Armor All supplied a applicator with the Tire Gel until I can get a new one.

I just got my bottle of Black Again...I used it years ago and it went away (I think in 1999 went out of business). Anyway it is awesome (I have tried everyone of the products mentioned in this thread and Black again is better hands down).

    Re: Tire Gels

I like the gels for the application and no sling properties. I am sure B&B is a great product as all Poorboys products are. The water based products do not last very long. They tend to run when applied with a sponge and do so when sprayed and as glen33 mentioned they sling. I would also like to try the WG tire gel. I am trying to find the best cost ratio too. The WG is 14.99
for 16oz versus the Mequiars 7.99 for 16oz. If I tried the WG and there was a significant difference, I might be willing to spring the extra cost.

    Re: Tire Gels

Highest possible gloss on a tire is attainable by using NXT insane. This product is in a group of its own. Second category would include Turtle Wax Wet`n Shine and Black Magic Tire gel (very thick can sling). I have never used boutique tire gels only otc. I have tried many and these are the top gloss in my opinion for otc.

    Re: Tire Gels

I have used the NXT and the Endurance High gloss has about the same
shine without the application problems of a spray.
