    That Fresh Smell

What do you guys use in your vehicles to keep that fresh smell. I usually drive with my windows open so I don`t use the air much. Sometimes when I do turn on the air thier is a bit of funk oder. Not sure form what. I hardly ever use the air so I know the in-cabin filter is clean. I don`t want somthing that hangs from my mirror or a cluny thing that clips to my vents especially since I don`t run the air much.

Are you looking for a fresh, clean smell or something to cover up the A/C smell. You can spray some Natural Look into the vents and then you`ll smll NL everytime you turn your air on.

    Re: That Fresh Smell

There are actually sevral products designed just for this. I am going to try and post a few that i found online.

There is also a product that you can spray into the A/C drain hose and it is a foam that expand inside and then kills off bactreia but i cannot loctae it.

lonewolf0420, I bought the Clean Air combo kit, but haven`t tried it yet.

One thing you might try with your A/C, before you turn off the vehicle after running the A/C, turn the A/C compressor off and just run the fan. That helps to move any moisture remaining in the lines out and should help to prevent the associated molds/mildew.

In the wintertime I use NL in the heater vents as well.

In summer I use Fabreze on the carpets, and that works pretty good.

I use half a head of red cabbage- it absorbs all the odors , then when it wilts, and shrivels up, replace with remaining half.

I have never heard of that before......
I try to keep all the food out of my car, instead of bringing it in.
Where do you put it? Under the seat? What do you tell your passengers when a half head of cabbage rolls out from under there seat? LMAO....Just messing with you....

That sounds a little unorthodox. I would like to hear the explination you give to passengers. And does the cabbage not have a smell of it`s own??
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

    Re: That Fresh Smell

dude, i`m tellin` you, an old farmer told me this trick, he used in his farm truck-
NOT regular cabbage, that crap smells like a sewage plant( it has to be red cabbage) it absorbs like twice as much as arm&hammer,

you can use it in your house, or at your job, you can use it in a car, or on your boat, put it in your closet, right under your coat,.....just try it , you will see, just try it, and be like me.
