    crevices

When detailing a car do you keep away from the crevices or do you go over them when usuing the PC and then cleaning the crevices when the detail is complete and thats for each step mind you. Because when I detail a car I have a hard time doing a panel then wiping it down then worry about the crevices before I go on to the next panel. Should I clean the crevices in the end and worry about the dried product producing micro scratches.

I do the whole car then after I go over it a panel at a time to get at the dried wax, etc. I use a boars brush that looks like a toothbrush for most of it. Its quite soft and on black it seems to leave no marks

I agree, you have to hit the WHOLE car when polishing, buffing, waxing, etc. When completed, I also go over the crevices with various brushes, qtips, toothpicks to clean up the leftover.

I do have one trick, well kinda a trick - Make sure to start your polishing away from the edges then move towards the edges (crevices) as you thin out your liquid. This helps keep the buildup to a minimum and sometimes non-existant if it`s a good day!
