    Autogeek GC

Just got an email from autogeek for gift certificates.
Correct me if I am wrong, but the more you spend..the better the discount. In this case, if you buy to $50 GC you save more than if you get the $300 GC

    1 $50 GC is $40
    1 $300 GC is $250

    6x $50 GC would be $240

Wonder if they paid much attention when they gave their discounts.

if you were to buy 6 for 40$ that equals $240 meaing that you`re saving $60 & if you were to useyou gift certificates with your DC code latter on the year then you will be very happy for saving alot of money I guess this is part of a christmas special MAX is running. I just hope were allowed to use more than one Gift Card @ a time.

I`m not positive but I don`t think the DC discount applies in this case... I personally think that it shouldn`t, if I`m buying a gift certificate I pay full price and IMO thats the way it should be. JMO

Once the GC is purchased it is treated as cash or a credit card so any purchases made you can use the detailcity code or any other promo code to get an addititional discount. I called Autogeek to check and that is what I was told.

Spending $300 at Autogeek and paying with $300 worth of GC`s purchased @ $240 in conjunction with the 10% DC coupon code would give 30% savings. Wow!!

You sound like my wife. She goes shopping, spends several hundred dollars and then tells me how much money she saved me.

Actually, it is one heck of a deal.

Yes, I have a very serious problem distinguishing between actually saving money and buying something at a lesser price.
