    Tar on unpainted plastic trim

What do you guys use to remove tar from unpainted plastic trim? The Tar & Bug removers I have say "safe for use on all painted surfaces." They don`t say anything about unpainted surfaces. Others, like Stoners, specifically advise against using on plastic. Suggestions?

try an APC. let dwell for 30 seconds. and lightly agitate with a terry cloth. rinse.

i dont use tooo many bug and tar removers. i dont really find the need for them. but the other day my car had some tar on the left lower rear panel and that regimen worked fine.
