How to clean instrument panel plastic without scratching?

    Hello,
I just purchased a new car and was wondering the best way to clean the plastic instrument panel without scratching it. I have been using a clean microfiber cloth and Endust electronic spray to clean it. I still think I am putting little scratches in it. My last car was used and was already scuffed up on the panel and it looks awful when sun light hits it. I am trying to avoid that on the new one.

    Thanks

Compressed air, then plexus on the softest/plushest MF you can find.

If you use Plexus, it will help fill in the little scratches too. And as pt91 said, use good quality stuff and be gentle.

I have used SSR1 with pretty good results.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

Another vote for Plexus and the softest highest quality MF you can get. Clear plastic scratches very easily. I have scratched it even with high quality MF. Try to apply as little pressure as possible when wiping off the Plexus.

I find that using S&W (high lube) for the first pass, and S&G for the second pass works very well. I use a MF towel designed for cleaning glass and haven`t had any scratching issues.

If you need to clean out minor scratches, SSR1 works well for me.

I want to try it. Can I buy Plexus at walmart or autozone, or do I have to order online?

Novus or Plexus are both great plastic cleaners and polishes

Where can we get Plexus from? I`d like to try that one out. I`ve used the mothers plastic cleaner & it`s worked pretty good.

You can get it on line of course but you can buy local from motor cycle shops and I`ve seen it at boat stores.
