    UPP: Super-Slick

I just did my sister`s Honda Odyssey and I noticed that after 1 coat of UPP (wash and clayed, no polish/SSR/AIO) it felt really slick. I thought it was slicker than my multiple coats of Klasse SG and EX-P which I usually use on my car or top-of-the-line cars for friends/family. FWIW, I applied another coat of UPP about 18 hours later.

    Anyone else get that feeling?

Same here. I`ve got 3 coats on right now and it only took half an ounce, too.
WG is also very slick, and of course Z2pro.

    Re: UPP: Super-Slick

UPP is the slickest stuff I have used. Whether it`s one coat, two, or more, it is slicker than multiple coats of anything I have used. The closest thing I have found personally that`s close to being as slick is Pinnacle`s Paste Glaz. Wolfgang is pretty slick, but there`s a definite drop off in slickness between it and UPP.

give UPC a try too, it is just as slick IMO (when I top with UPP, the slickness stays about the same)

Can I layer UPP on top of EX-P or Klasse SG...or just other UPP layers ???

    Re: UPP: Super-Slick

I have put some UPP on top of WG recently. Noticed no problems. I think you can put most sealants on top of other sealants - it`s when you try and put a sealant over a glaze or wax that people seem to have bonding problems. Having never experienced this, at least to the best of my knowledge, I can`t comment on it. I tend to not leave anything alone long enough to notice if the durability would be effected.

Thanks, Jared....it`s just that I have 3 layers of SG on my car and I don`t want to take off 3 layers of protection for 1 layer of super-slickness, ya know?

And no, I don`t want to put on 3 coats of UPP to replace 3 layers of SG....at least not so quickly !!!!

I`m pretty sure that Jngrbrdman has posted about alternate applications of SG and UPP with good results or at least no problems.

    Re: UPP: Super-Slick

I`ve tried UPP in combination with several other synthetic products. While it seems to work just fine, it always seems to "look" better when it is applied on top of a previous coat of UPP.

I agree, it is very slick. Especially if maintained with UGE!

The only thing I`ve found to be slicker, is Z2-Pro maintained with Z8 Spray Sealant and Z6 QD.
