    Okay guys.
Iam asking you because I know someone will know. one of my moms friends had just bought a new Mountaineer. One of her kids drew a star on the center console. Any idea on how to take it off? I need to know before tomorrow.
    Thanks!

DONT DO THIS UNTIL SOMEONE CAN VERIFY IT IS SAFE!! if someone thinks it is safe you might try mr clean magic eraser? or else just try some apc with some aggitation. These are just some ideas i could think of.

The magic erasers have been working for me. Leaves the surface looking a little rough though, with bits of foam everywhere. Follow up with natural look or your interior cleaner/dressing of choice and it`ll look good as new.

I use a green schotch brite pad with a little G.P> Diluted 10:1. Soak the brillo pad and use a back and fouth motion, be sure not to press down to hard though cause it will mark the leather. Use patience with this proceadure and it will come out.

    Ink stains
Some ballpoint ink stains can be sponged clean using 303TM Cleaner & Spot Remover. If this doesn`t completely remove the stain, the other alternative is to use Isopropyl alcohol (or a hairspray in an emergency) Townsend Leatherâ„¢ Ink & Stain Remover will removes ink, crayon, lipstick, heel scuffs and other difficult stains from finished leather.

    Good point-
With all cleaning products, always test a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it won`t discolour or stain the surface, and ensure that the pH of the product is suitable for the material. As can be seen stain removal requires some knowledge of basic chemistry. Read the product labels and manufacturers safety data sheets (MSDS) to obtain a basic idea of contents, pH levels etc. Always select a chemical / cleaner that are biodegradable, environmentally friendly and safe to use by observing any precautions recommended so that they won’t harm you, your vehicle or the environment.
