Does anybody have one? How sturdy are these polishers? They seem very inexpensive compaired to other polishers. I`m just wondering if they`re that cheap, how well built are they.

Teflon is for frying pans.
To answer your question...they are pretty solid. What I think is a more pertinent question is... Do they work? The answer to that question is...Yes, but certainly not in the class of a pc. I would say it is like using your hand.
I purchased all of the stuff to do my vehicle. Pads, batteries, and mf bonnets. It did not make half of my pickup before the battery went low. The second battery did the same. Not much power and like I said not much longevity.
IMHO, save your money and purchase a pc. Your money will be better spent because a pc will do a better job.
Hi,
Just remeber this famous quote ..."You get what you pay for".. I would save for a pc or a rotary..
And another quote:
"buy quality ; only cry once"

I bought the cordless wen polisher and did a toyota 4runner with one battery. I like it for applying the last step product. It made it the process much faster.

A friend gave me his WEN rotary when he bought something better & I`ve had great success with it. It`s a 2-speed & I bought a 7" velcro backing plate to use with 8" LC Tufted pads.
My recommendation is to buy the best you can afford. Prior to being given the WEN rotary, I never heard of WEN.
There`s a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
the battery powered version is perfect for applying LSPs in a hurry. i use a 4" finishing pad.
I have a 6" ROB from WEN. It orbits at 3600OPM and I love it! I wouldn`t use it for polishing a whole car, if I would, you need to give it a break for a few minutes and then go again.
I actually used it to remove HUGE scratches off my Dad`s trunk and it works pretty good! More effort than a PC but managed quite well, of course, I took a few breaks so I wouldn`t melt the casing! )
