Quick Adam`s review

Hi Folks,

I hadn`t tried Adam`s products on my black truck (actually, I haven`t used Adam`s in quite a while) but on a whim today I applied coats of Revive and Butter Wax. Both were applied by hand. For the polish I used a terry applicator and the wax was applied with a foam pad. Both were doused with QD spray. Each was removed with a microfiber polishing towel which also received QD.

Every time I`ve used Adam`s products I`ve found them difficult to apply and remove. I don`t have this issue with other products, so I`d like to think it`s not my technique. In any case, I was pleased with the results. Revive doesn`t seem to have any cutting power (at least when applied by hand) so the light swirls that have cropped up are still there. The depth of the shine was pleasing, and seems to be a wee bit better than Poorboys EX-P.

Nice Job Jerry....looks very good.
Revive does have some cutting power, although it has been my experience that when using a pc with a green or if needed and orange pad at 6, Revive with some of Adams Scratch Swirl Remover got rid of my scratches and swirls no problem.
I have not tried to do scratch and swirl removal by hand.

i toof ound application a bit harder than normal but removal by far was super easy. the revive does seem to have some cutitng ability. and by some i mean it has just enough to dull the edges of scratches to make em less noticeable and harder for light to bounce off em. adams butter wax is my new fav. wax for my personal vehicle. but we`ll just see how long that last. last time i think i said upp was my fav.

Hmm interesting. I don`t see any difficulty in application at all, but removal is definitely freaking easy!

Have you tried PB EX on the black? I love it on my black Chev!

Looks great from the pics you attatched. I`ll have to give the butter wax a try too.

I have used EX-P on the truck, and it seems to offer the best shine...I`m still experimenting. Four Star UPP left it`s usual incredibly slick feel but I wasn`t pleased with the lack of depth to the finish.

Just based on the butter wax - and a small experiment with P21S - I`m thinking carnuba is the way to go for the topcoat. The truck will get a full detail before a show next Saturday. I`m planning to make a coupla` SSR passes, but am still debating what to layer on top.

nice work , your mods look good too. Have you tried PB`s EX ? not EX-P. The EX has carnuba in it for darker colored vehicles. it smells good during the application too. Some people like that ya know..lol

Vroom, the EX-P and EX are two different products. The new EX works awesome on darker colored paints, giving the paint great depth and wetness. The EX-P users say is better for lighter colored paints.
