I have some Bose 601`s hooked up to an old Mitsubishi DA-A10DC Frequency response 0-150khz Output 100w+100w at 15 -30khz at 8 ohms Distortion less than 0.01 at rated output. I did not think they sounded that bad. But I have not heard any of the new stuff guess they have come a long way.

You guys are killing me......I just bought the $5000 Zymol wax and for another 2,500 they threw in 1 Bose speaker. Are you trying to tell me I didn`t get a good deal???

    Just kidding......It`s all hype.

OK I`m in I have a pair of JBL L110`s

I`ve had them for over 20 years and yet to have a problem other than reconning them once. I have a 500 watt amp that can make them fly, now turn up the CCR please....LOL

I dont know about Bose but I do feel that for the money Polk makes a nice speaker system. I have a small Polk sub/satelite system that works great for much less than the Bose price and its a nice set up for a smaller room.

I have recently bought some larger tower speakers to put with my home theater and I love them. The tweeters are smooth and crisp sounding and the mids and lows are balanced for a modest sized speaker. The price is decent compared to the high-end stuff you can sink a ton of money into and the performance is respectable.
