    n00b questions.

ordered a the pc kit from autogeek.net and it comes in wed, i have a few questions to ask...

what supplied pad should i use with meguires nxt?

i was looking at pepboys and saw the meguires 3 step, and a 3m 3 step and was wondering if the 3m which is double the cost of the meguires is worth it.

    thanks in advanced

It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. By the Megs I assume you are talking about the Deep Crystal 3 step program? I am not sure what the 3M entails though. Your best bet would be to order some PC friendly polishes (aggressive and light), and a glaze to use under that NXT. Poorboys polishes are great for beginners and work very well with the PC. If you are looking to get something locally you may want to get some Megs #83 and #80 from their pro line.

I bought a gallon of #83 and have used it on a few cars, still not sure what to think of it. Kind of weak so far.

I find it to be jsut about as abrasive than SSR2.5. Are you using it by PC or rotary? Rotary is the way to go with this product but it can work by PC.
