    Interior cleaning advice please.

Just curious as to how the pros are cleaning the junk around and in the buttons on the dash and center console. Please list tools and products used. I`m trying to avoid simple green, not too fond of the smell. Also, are you concerned about spraying cleaning products onto electronics, not soaking of course? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Since you are not too fond of Simple Green you can use any APC like Megs., Poorboys, or any one you can find locally. Dilute 10:1 for light soiling and 4:1 for heavier. I use detailing brushes to clean the area if wiping can not take the grime off, in a pinch a soft toothbrush works just fine. About the electronics apply the mixture to a MF rag or brush but do not over saturate to the point where it is dripping.

A light mist of a foam cleaner on a paintbrush will work well for the areas you are refering to.

Compressed air, with the cleaner of your choice, will get the job done 95% of the time. I use a microfiber scrubbing towel and wipe the residues that this process leaves behind. If this doesn`t work, I`ll get my boar hair brush and repeat the above process. I`ve never had any problems with electronic device damage but I`m careful not to saturate the areas.

Use an aerosol can of `compressed air` (the type used to remove dust from computers) then clean with a 100% cotton towel and electronics `safe` anti-static cleaner (Kiwi Brands EndustTM for Electronics) oil and wax free, also works well on both computer monitors and television screens.
