This is one of my details this past week. Overall, the truck was in pretty good shape. We just had some some snow here in Boston, so it got covered in sand & salt from the roads.

My process was very simple. I washed the exterior, wheels & engine compartment, removed all grease and tar from bottom panels, buffed with Optimum polish and sealed with UPP x2. Tires were dressed with Kar Kraft- Super Blue dressing. Polished wheels with Wicked Metal Polish & sealed with AIO. Thats it...

Very nice! Looks like the OEM Platinum Series wheels; so that`s gotta be a relatively new truck. Yet in the last pic you can see where maybe some paint work was done on the drivers` door cladding? The color doesn`t match up....

Looks awesome. I really like the Escalades alot. Pearl White is an awesome color!!!

I`m From Peabody originally. I used Kar Kraft products years ago. I got them at a supplier in Melrose. Do you use Kar Kraft often? what are your thoughts on thier line?

I don`t really use any of their line of polishes or waxes, but I get most of of my wheel acid, GP cleaner, extractor shampoo, car soap, misc. brushes etc. from them because they deliver it right to me which is convenient. They do carry some Meguiars and 3M products which I do get from them as well.

I too really like those pearl Escalades. Quality carpets too, pretty easy to clean.

Scott, pearl white is definitely the best color for an Escalade IMO. These color rugs are great also because thay don`t seem to show the dirt as much as other colors.

I would say you are one of the top 5 detailers on this site, your work is always excellent. Just curious if the drivers door was repainted? It appears to be a different shade than the rest of the truck.

Thank you very much for the kind words. There are a lot of great detailers here on Autopia and I have learned a lot from others on this site. I take pride in my work and I am glad it shows.

As for the drivers door, I see what you mean in a couple of the pictures. If look at the other pictures from the side it looks OK. I did put the paint thickness meter on the entire truck and there does not appear to be any paintwork besides the rear bumper which we ere told by the previous owner. I think it is the pearl in the paint which makes it look darker/ lighter in certain light.
