View Full Version : what rotary polisher do YOU use?

im still deciding which polisher to get. i want a light light light and durable and low vibration. i was told to get the makita one in the review section. today i tried the dewalt 849 is there anything lighter then that?
and where can i purchase these in a canada vancouver of a website that is based in canada.

Cyclo is not a rotary polisher, for starters.
As far as I know, the best polisher to meet what you`re looking for would be a Metabo. I have not used one personally, but everyone I`ve talked to seems to think they`re the easiest to use as far as rotaries go.

yes the metabo is much lighter then the makita.

AEG 150, very light but not so powerful, only 1200w.

I use the Hitatchi SP18VA(H) and love it. Very well balanced and easy to use. Got it off Ebay for $120 from here www.utterguys.com

can somone explain to me the major differences (other then the free bag) between the top three machines?
i can get 9227c for 228 cdn includes tax. i want that wrap around side handle.

The Fein is a tad lighter than the Metabo and definately lighter than all the rest.
